To remain competitive, organizations across industries must undergo digital transformation. Digitization will bring the corporate banking industry a range of opportunities from increased efficiency to greater customer insights as well as new products and services. The development of human capital and leadership in particular is fundamental to exploiting the opportunities inherent to digitization.
With these principles in mind, the Mira team created a learning and development strategy for a large corporate banking group head quartered in the UAE. As part of the process, the Mirai team defined the leadership capabilities for the organization’s corporate banking leaders. These capabilities were intended to enable the leaders to serve as industry shapers through digital transformation. The capabilities were then supported by a learning and development model and a series of recommended programs to be delivered over an 18-month period.
